Located in the municipality of Saint-Gilles-les-Forêts, Mont Gargan reaches a peak of 731 metres, offering breathtaking views of Limousin. A toposcope helps you identify the visible peaks in the surrounding area. The ruined chapel embodies the history of this summit, where several important events took place during the Second World War. It saw significant fighting in July 1944, when Georges Guingouin led the resistance against the German army.
